Robert S. Harrison C'73 was the winner of the Elihu Root Distinguished Sigma Phi award. He shares his thoughts on Sigma Phi and the impact that it has had on his life. 

Harrison is a Rhodes Scholar, former Goldman Sachs partner, current Chairman of the Cornell University Board of Trustees, and current CEO of the Clinton Global initiative.


The Sigma Phi Society was founded at Union College in Schenectady, New York, on March, 4, 1827. 

The Sigma Phi Society is the second member of the Union Triad and is the oldest social fraternity in continuous national existence.
