The Wisconsin chapter's ongoing preservation efforts at its National Historic Landmark chapter house recently caught the attention of architecture aficionado and OnMilwaukee Senior Editor Bobby Tanzilo. Bobby's detailed article captures much of the house's rich history—from the background of the family that commissioned it, to the architects and their collaborative design process, to the chapter's continuing stewardship of the property, including both the current major exterior restoration project and the ongoing preservation work required to care for a historic landmark.
You can read Bobby's article and view several wonderful photographs of the house, both contemporary and historical, by clicking on this link.
