March Fourth Sigma Phi And celebrate our Society’s 199th birthday! While the ways of the world may grow weary, the flame first lit by Cromwell, Bowie, Bowie and Witherspoon that March day in 1827 at the Alpha of Alpha’s still burns bright, warming the hearts of our brotherhood, united in the bonds of friendship, love and truth. Let us take this happy occasion to rejoice and reflect. Call to mind the memories of your student years and how the Sigma Phi shaped and supported the path you chose. “Few have worn its badge who have not retained its influence - not as a memory merely - but as a living force, sometimes dormant, but ever ready to waken to earnest activity.” Look to the future and know that you have still yet to fathom all that the Thrice Illustrious will reveal to you in time. “While each pulse with life is beating, And our gath’rings bring back youth, Brothers dear we’ll still be greeting. Praising Friendship, Love and Truth. For one hundred years we’ll love thee All true sons of Sigma Phi. Thru the untold years we’ll love thee. We, thy sons in Sigma Phi.” E.P.V. Brendan J. McCurdy, H’80Chairman, Standing & Advisory Committee
P.S. Might you take a moment now and consider paying your annual dues? Annual dues were proposed and adopted in 1911; and such facilities have functioned to the advantage of the Society since that time. Click the link or scan the QR code below, and modern technology will facilitate your payment. Thank you.
