Introducing the First New Sigma Phi Song in Decades

After decades of silence, and as an early start to our bicentennial celebrations, Sigma Phi is proud to announce the release of its first new song in many years - Raise Your Glass. This fresh musical piece was written by Mark Patterson, I'74 - who still plays and sings in Short Notice®, a Sigma Phi band started at the Thorsen House when he was an active in Berkeley. The song was recorded, mixed, and mastered in Nashville, a city renowned for its rich musical heritage. What makes this release truly unique is the blend of Celtic music, Red Dirt Country, and Americana influences, that (with a bit of volume) gets your heart pumping.

The Significance of a New Sigma Phi Song

Sigma Phi has a long history of tradition and camaraderie, often expressed through music that resonates with its members.
