If you wish to make a dues payment then this is the right avenue! Donations to this fund offer the most flexibility to Sigma Phi and cover programming of all kinds, as well as the general operating expenses of the Society. Donations to this fund are not tax deductible.

The Sigma Phi Educational Foundation provides financing for educational programming. The Foundation funds numerous academic achievement awards, speaker programs, direct faculty interactions with the undergraduate chapters, and in 2015 funded the implementation of sexual assault prevention and bystander intervention training for all undergraduate members. As an educational foundation under IRC Code Sec. 501(c)(3), contributions to the Sigma Phi Educational Foundation are tax deductible.

THORSEN HOUSE RESTORATION FUND

The Thorsen House Restoration Fund is dedicated to preserving the Sigma Phi chapter house at the University of California - Berkeley. The house, designed by architects Greene and Greene, is a national historic landmark. A special ruling from the IRS allows donations for restoration of the house to be tax deductible through the Sigma Phi Educational Foundation.
