This year 4 March marked not only the 190th year of Sigma Phi's founding, but also the first ever day of giving for the Society.
The flagship events, hosted by national organization were held in Washington DC. After a day of meetings and strategy-making among the members of the Standing and Advisory board as well as the Sigma Phi Educational Foundation, brothers took to the phones to spread the message about what Sigma Phi is trying to achieve this year.
After a successful day of giving, engaging brothers from across America, and indeed the world. The 4th March banquet was hosted at the Army Navy Club, thanks to Brother Bill Parch S'54, a member of the club. David Dallas S'79 acted as the keynote speaker for the evening and spoke about "Sigma Phi and the pursuit of happiness" reflecting upon 5 strategies he believes brothers can engage in to further their pursuit of happiness.
Plans are already in place and excitement building for what promises to be an exciting trip to the Alpha of Virginia for this year's convention, where we will once again be able to engage in fellowship and brotherhood with brothers old and young. Make your plans now to be in Charlottesville the weekend of 21-23 September!
Also stay tuned for many more developments throughout this year.
